On October 8, Shandong Hugerubber Co., Ltd. held a forklift driver skills competition. A total of 26 forklift operators participated in the skills competition, including internal mixing workshop, semi-finished product workshop, molding workshop, vulcanization workshop, equipment department and material department.

This competition is based on the proposition of the national standard for senior workers with professional qualification, and the main test is forklift operation skill competition and forklift inspection. Among them, the operation part is equipped with three competition events: "load snake", "balance pile passing" and "transfer I-wheel", which are required to be completed within the specified time. In the "loaded snake" project, the contestants need to drive the forklift over the pile according to the route, pass through five obstacles with a spacing of 2.4m in the form of winding the pile, unload the goods again after passing, and drive in reverse according to the original route to return to the starting point. The whole process has greatly tested the accurate coordination of forklift drivers' eyes, hands and feet and their adaptability to competition vehicles. Otherwise, as long as there is a little mistake, they will lose points due to collision with sidelines and obstacles. Due to the difficult operation of the project, many contestants lose serious points in this project, but it can really reflect the strength of a forklift master.

During the competition, the contestants manipulated the forklift to move forward, backward and turn flexibly in the designated area, and finally put the pallet stably in the designated position. The competition not only tests the players' technology, but also tests the players' psychological quality. After two days of fierce competition, the referee finally selected the top three according to the comprehensive performance of the participants in terms of operation technology and operation speed. The first place was Han Xiaoyun, a forklift driver from the semi-finished product workshop, and the second and third places were Nie Xiaohui from the vulcanization workshop and Ren Qinqiang from the internal mixing workshop.
